Bronze Horses - Guardians over Camden Stables Market
Iconic bronze sculptures @ the entrance of world famous Camden Stables vintage & antiques Market - Camden Town.
I’d seen ‘the guardians’ (as I call them) many times in the daytime and I have to say that like many sculptures & icons we see often, at some point, over time they had 'disappeared into the woodwork’. No longer significant or relevant in the journey.
On this particular night however, turning to speak to my partner on our way out of the closing market, the horses caught my eye. They appeared to come to life...the dim lights casting shadows across their bronzed limbs made them appear as though, in slow motion, they were taking flight into the summer night sky...
