The Fridge - Brixton
Formerly the Palladium & Ace cinemas...The Fridge live venue, bar & club existed between1981-2010.
I saw Pee Wee Ellis (sax,James Brown) & Van 'the man' Morrison there in...er....too long ago to remember....funked & jigged till we dropped...3 or was it four encores?...it really was an electric night.
Like the way I seg-wayed into the part which tells you that the current name for the newly revamped re-launched venue (2011) is the 'Electric Brixton'?
