The 'Spirit of Ecstacy' (Rt) - Monte Carlo
£0Price
Aka 'The Winged Lady', "Silver Lady" or "Flying Lady" - has been the iconic mascot of Rolls Royce cars since its creation at the turn of the 20thcentury by sculptor Charles Robinson Sykes.
First commissioned by the 2nd Lord Montagu of Beaulieu (John Walter Edward-Scott-Montagu) and later by Rolls Royce, the figurine was an emblem commemorating the long standing secret love affair between Lord Montagu and the model of the figurine - his mistress & PA Eleanor Velasco Thornton.
