Royal wedding celebration - April 2011

For those who were not up to joining the hundreds of thousands of patriotic folk who descended upon the capital that day from the four crorners of the UK and globally, across the capital there were small pockets of local communities celebrating in a style befitting their locality. tea parties, street partes, and in a little pocket a stones throw from Spitalfields Shoreditch Victoriana was enacted  - with dickensian characters dressed to the hilt, doffing top hats & saucy garters & frills swishing Nell Gwynn like amid union jacks, pearly kings & queens and this magnificent trip down memory lane - giant sized shire horses, pulling an original cart (dray) full of barrels from the local brewery...
