Psst! Come closer....Don't tell anyone, but the middle belongs to ...er... a very close friend of mine(!)....' Ah when in Rome'...except that we...er...they...er... were in Paris... 

 The 'Love locks'  - modern public declarations of love, where couples write their names on padlocks, attach to bridges ( or fences ) and throw away the keys. Originated in Italy approximately 8 years ago and has fast become a worldwide phenomena.


In order to preserve the structure, natural aesthetics & cultural heritage of the 19th century bridge  - the locks, in the hundreds of thousands, were removed indefinitely by Paris city council  in June 2015.
