Sunset - Portside - Dahab Harbour Egypt

'Eeee when I were a young backpacking, cow milking falafel eating kibbutznik, the trendy bars & restaurants were bohemian hodge bodges of mere ramshackle shacklike dwellings, where a plateful of homemade chips & a pizza cost no more than a few sheckles and would happily feed a large group of practically penniless backpacking, backgammon playing, beach sleeping, sunworshipping global adventurers... You could sleep under pebble floored, makeshift roofed, 3 walled partially built hut like chalets, wash with water a bucket from the communal 'well' in the middle of the building site of a courtyard ...and still, belongings & all safe as houses, walk around with a constant grin on your face like a Cheshire cat who's gotten the milk... What hadn't changed?? Bob Marley, backgammon and of course plates of chips....
